Drishyam 2 Run Time and Budget

If you haven’t seen Drishyam 2 yet, you’re in for a treat. The sequel to the 2011 hit is set to hit theaters in February 2021. Written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film stars Mohanlal, Anil Johnson, and Satheesh Kurup. It has a budget of about Rs20 crores and is distributed by Amazon Prime Video.

The second installment of Drishyam is set six years after the events of the first movie. It will focus on the repercussions of the events of the original film and will have a run time of 2 hours and 33 minutes. Jeethu Joseph was initially hesitant to shoot a sequel because he felt that the original film was a perfect masterpiece. He was also afraid that a sequel would sully his legacy and make the film a flop. That is why it took him five years to write the script for Drishyam 2.

The sequel to Drishyam was released internationally in February 2021. It is a Malayalam-language crime drama thriller, directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor. The film stars Mohanlal, Ansiba Hassan, Meena, and Ansiba Hassan. It is written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, and the music is by Anil Johnson. It is distributed by Amazon Prime Video and was released worldwide on February 19, 2021.

The second part of Drishyam picks up where the first one left off. In this film, Mohanlal once again stars as the detective who investigates the disappearance of Varun Prabhakar. The story is based around the repercussions of his actions. However, the police are closing in on him, and the case has a bleak future for the entire family.

The film starts out as a family drama, but soon gains a pulse as the investigation moves towards a climax. Jeethu Joseph masterfully weaves several threads into the story and ends it with a powerful climax. It is also full of fine details that make it stand out among Tamil films. If you’re not a fan of the first one, you’re not alone.

Drishyam 2 is an entertaining follow-up to the acclaimed first movie. It retraces Georgekutty’s story six years after the events of Drishyam. While he still struggles to come to terms with the tragedy, he owns a movie theater and dreams of producing his own film. While the police are investigating, Georgekutty finds himself at a crossroads, forced to choose between his family and his career. A dark secret that’s buried cannot stay hidden forever.

While the film has some flaws, it’s a worthwhile watch for its story and twists. While its background score and production values are top notch, the editing is a bit uninspired. While the opening half of the film is a little dull, the story picks up toward the end. The courtroom scenes and climax are particularly impressive. The second half is packed with thrills, so it’s a good choice for first-time viewers.
